Building Doctors' top priority has always been the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and customers.
Now amid ongoing concerns about the Coronavirus/COVID-19, our efforts are doubled. We understand the concerns and uncertainty you may be experiencing around the evolving situation, and we're committed to being responsive and flexible to our customers' needs.
We are walking a fine line between trying to make a living and doing what is right for the community. All of our installation employees work on an hourly basis so if they don't work they can't earn a living.
In these uncertain times, we wanted to let you know what we are doing to minimize any risk. We take great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the Coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed with global and local public health authorities (including the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, and the LA County Dept of Public Health) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous.
- Our installation crews are receiving daily, enhanced protocol briefings, and have increased the frequency of cleaning our work areas, tools, vehicles etc.
- At this time, we believe all of our employees are thankfully healthy. Employees will be required to have their temperature taken daily before beginning work at your home. They are to stay home if they have a cough, fever, or any flu-like symptoms.
- We already wear masks a lot of the time however anytime we are inside your home they will be worn along with gloves.
- We will be providing a portable toilet for each jobsite so we won't need to use your bathrooms.
We all have a role to play in the health and welfare of our communities.
We will run Building Doctors responsibly for as long as deemed safe. We hope that you, our valued customer, know how much we appreciate your business and loyalty. If I can answer any questions or concerns that you have, feel free to either email or call any time.
Best,
Dan Thomsen
President
